Are you passionate about education and helping students reach their full potential? We are looking for a dedicated After-School Tutor to provide high-quality support to students in a range of subjects.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide tailored one-to-one or small group tutoring sessions
2. Assist students with homework, exam preparation, and subject understanding
3. Create engaging lesson plans suited to individual learning needs
4. Track student progress and provide constructive feedback
5. Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
6. Location: Buckinghamshire
7. Position: After school Tutor
8. Hours: up to 25 hours per week
9. Start date: As soon as possible
10. Duration: ongoing until a school placement is found
11. Contract Type: Temporary/part-time
12. Pay rate: from £25 per hour
Experience, Training and Qualifications of the Tutor:
13. QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications is preferred
14. Demonstrated experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
15. Possess UK classroom teaching experience and experience delivering tailored lesson plans
16. Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
17. Have experience working with challenging behaviour and disengaged pupils
To be eligible for this role, the potential Tutor must:
18. Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
19. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
20. Provide two professional child-related references.
