Management Accountant Your new company Haysare delighted to partner exclusively with this leading energy business specialising in clean energy services. The company operates a state-of-the-artfacility and have plans to continue growing their UK presence. Your new role As a ManagementAccountant, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient financial operationsacross transactional finance, credit control, reconciliations, and processimprovement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Manage purchase ledger processes, ensuring accurate posting of invoices and supplier statement reconciliations. Oversee credit control, chasing outstanding debtors via Credit Hound software. Perform AR facility reconciliations and regular bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
Process cash receipts and ensure correct allocation of incoming payments. Support procurement by raisingpurchase orders and maintaining accurate records. Assist in month-end processes, including fibre accruals and journal entries.
Compile and manage payroll-related timesheets and staff costs. Process employee expenses inline with company policies. Reconcile company credit card statements and resolve discrepancies.
Provide administrative support, including answering finance-related queries. What you'll need to succeed Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or proven experience in a similar accounting role. Strong financial and numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with supplier or third-party financial management software. Knowledge of Sage and/or Sage 200 preferred.
Advanced MS Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to foster positive working relationships.
