Overview Of Role
Responsible for managing and coordinating the administrative functions of the organisation, including scheduling, record keeping, compliance support, and communication. Ensures smooth office operations to support the delivery of quality care services.
Key Details
* Hours: Monday to Friday (8am to 4pm)
* Wage: £7.55 per hour, (Rises to National Minimum Wage after 12 months)
* Location: The Crescent, King Street Leicester, LE1 6RX
* Qualification: Business Administrator – Level 3 (equivalent to A Level)
* Duration of course: 18 months
* Training Provider: LMP Education (Rated No 1 Training Provider in the UK!)
* All learning delivered online/remotely alongside role
Full Duties And Responsibilities
* Perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the department and managers or supervisors to facilitate efficient operations.
* Answer, screen, and transfer inbound phone calls, taking messages when necessary.
* Greet and assist visitors, ensuring they sign in and out and providing necessary information or assistance.
* Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail for pickup or courier.
* Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for managers or supervisors.
* Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems, ensuring documents are organized and easily accessible.
* Perform data entry tasks, including updating and maintaining databases, spreadsheets, and other records.
* Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar software.
* Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available.
Skills & Personal Qualities
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data management systems (e.g., SIMS, Arbor, etc.).
* Ability to analyse and interpret data accurately, identifying trends and patterns.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and stakeholders.
Qualifications Requirements
* GCSE or equivalent (Functional Skills) English (Grade 4) – essential
* GCSE or equivalent (Functional Skills) Maths (Grade 4) – essential
