Owning commercial outcomes by analysing trading performance and identifying opportunities to maximise results. Collaborating across teams to build and deliver a proactive trading calendar filled with aligned, effective strategies. Reacting swiftly to market shifts, making data-driven decisions to keep us ahead of the curve. Driving strategic thinking, turning performance insights into actionable plans that fuel growth. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Analyse trading performance across key markets, clearly reporting on forecast variances and commercial impact (UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, EMEA, AUS, ROW ex USA) Monitor market dynamics and competitor activity to inform trading strategies and fuel the trading calendar. Collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising, and Commercial Finance to understand performance drivers and recommend actions. Lead weekly cross-functional trading meetings with a regional lens, providing performance insights and action plans. Build and maintain a 3-month rolling view of risks and opportunities, tracking KPIs to forecast future performance. Develop and execute trading strategies to maximise revenue and profit, using data-led insights and cross-functional collaboration. Own the proactive trading calendar, balancing stock levels and customer behaviour to drive sales and reduce excess. Identify new opportunities through analysis of market trends, competitor moves, and customer behaviour. Contribute to the forecasting process, ensuring all relevant factors are considered. Foster a culture of innovation, intelligent risk-taking, and continuous improvement. Manage and develop two Trading Managers across international regions. Ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations. Interpret varied and complex information to make a balanced decision for the best business outcome. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to take complex inputs and synthesize into simple messages and recommendations. Collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders. Organised, methodical and detail orientated. Retail ecommerce experience. Result-orientated with a focus on achieving targets and driving business performance. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSIQ, Solihull, UK.
