Governance & Corporate Assurance Officer - Radius Housing

* Salary: £34,434 SP(23) to £39,152 SP(28) per annum

The Governance & Corporate Assurance Officer will support the HR Project and Data Governance Manager in the effective delivery of the Association’s data governance, corporate assurance and compliance framework by maintaining robust quality management systems, coordinating assurance activity and ensuring statutory and regulatory monitoring and reporting obligations are met. The postholder will play a key role in maintaining compliance with ISO 9001, support organisational performance monitoring, manage data governance processes including Subject Access Requests (SARs), and ensure the Association meets its Equality obligations.


Qualifications

* A third level qualification (Level 5 or above), or equivalent, in either Business Administration, Governance, Information Management, HR or a related discipline


Experience

* At least 2 years’ demonstrable experience in a governance, compliance, quality or data management role
* OR at least 4 years’ demonstrable experience (in last 8 years) in a governance, compliance, quality or data management role


Required Experience

* Supporting quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001)
* Performance monitoring and reporting
* Dealing with Subject Access Requests or data protection processes
* Data collection, analysis and reporting
* Supporting compliance with statutory or regulatory returns
* Working with corporate policies and procedures


Additional Skills & Knowledge

* Experience of identifying and delivering service delivery improvements
* Excellent IT literacy with demonstrable knowledge of the full suite of Microsoft Office packages
* Strong written and verbal communication skills


Driving & Transport

A current full driving licence and access to suitable transport is required. (Where an applicant indicates a disability that prohibits them from driving, this criterion will be waived at the shortlisting stage. In such circumstances, consideration will be given to suitable alternative arrangements.)
