Key responsibilities
* Assist with early phase project and part cost estimation to support programme evaluation, enabling accurate cost vs performance tradeoffs, and alignment with season cost targets and Cost Cap constraints
* Influence design for cost considerations by working with engineers to assess the cost impacts of materials, manufacturing methods, part complexity, tolerances, and lifecycle
* Drive cost efficiency by identifying cost drivers, inefficiencies, and non-value adding activities within engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain processes
* Develop and maintain detailed cost models for components, assemblies, tooling, and programmes, incorporating labour, machine time, materials, and overhead absorption
