The BCSA is a Trade Association representing the interests of our membership in the UK and Ireland which operates in the construction industry. This is achieved through a series of various marketing based experiences, marketing media channels and industry events.
We are a small, dedicated team of 17 supporting our membership with a range of services and engagement on behalf the members with stakeholders within industry, government and legislative bodies. We have two offices, one in Westminster and one in Doncaster.
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and creative Marketing Executive to join the BCSA team in London. The successful candidate will have strong skills in copywriting, creating compelling copy for campaigns and attention to detail when copyediting a weekly newsletter and monthly magazine. In addition, the Marketing Executive will create and execute marketing campaigns in the key areas of events, industry publications and digital channels. Reporting into the Strategic Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for, promoting our events, industry awards and activities to various stakeholders and lobby government, the wider construction industry and our membership.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, articulate, and dedicated Marketing Executive with the experience to deliver bespoke marketing campaigns for a professional business audience. The role will create and implement innovative marketing campaigns, delivered on time, leveraging website, social media, content, and face to face events.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding attention to detail, be highly proactive and an excellent team player with the ability to manage multiple projects to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:

Being present, open minded, bringing energy, ideas and solutions to the BCSA Group. Proactively participating in team meetings and project meetings, putting forward observations and new ideas to drive the success of both marketing and wider team activities

Plan and deliver cross-channel marketing campaigns in line with the project objectives
*
Promote events with the support of conference organisers in line with the event objectives
*
Writing and proofing copy for a range of marketing platforms and materials including websites, social media, emails, and brochures
*
Execution of all email campaigns
*
Managing and maintaining websites with regular updates
*
Continuous monitoring and evaluation of digital campaigns/channels and marketing emails, making recommendations to improve performance and drive ROI
*
Producing post campaign reports, with recommendations for future improvements
*
Working with key media and Trade Association partners to secure valuable external promotions for the events and key activities
*
Maintaining social media pages
*
Taking ownership of key overall brand campaigns, such as monthly newsletter and various web pages
*
Proactively participating in 1:1s, team meetings and project meetings, putting forward observations and new ideas to drive the success of both marketing and wider team activities
Requirements

Knowledge of best practice across email, social media, paid media, and websites

Experience of CRM, Photoshop, Mailchimp, InDesign and CMS systems
