In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering and managing our Level 3 part-time Hairdressing qualification, working with both adult learners and 16–18-year-olds. You'll bring lessons to life through creative planning, hands-on teaching, and real-world learning experiences—supported by close collaboration with colleagues and local employers to offer inspiring opportunities like industry-led masterclasses. You’ll play a key role in tracking student progress, maintaining high-quality standards, and shaping curriculum development, all while contributing to the wider goals of the department and college. What we're looking for:
At least 3 years practical experience within a hairdressing environment
A professional hair qualification at Level 3 or equivalent.
A passion for teaching and inspiring learners.
Experience of supporting young people to learn and develop new skills.
The ability to work successfully within a team.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards.
