Join Our Team as a Relief Driver! Are you looking for a permanent, full-time role that offers variety, flexibility, and the chance to be part of a dynamic team? We have an exciting opportunity for you to become a key player in our logistics operations where you will be required to cover holiday/sickness, covering a wide range of collections and deliveries. As a Class 1 Driver, you will: Use a range of trailers including refrigerated units with tail lifts, curtain sider, and flatbed to carry out multi drop deliveries and collections across the local area. This includes delivering milk cages to retail stores and returning empties in the Aberdeen area, delivering bakery products to retail, wholesale, and convenience outlets across Aberdeen (involving tail lift operation and manual handling), and delivering and collecting bulk materials such as scrap metals, as well as oil and gas equipment. Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed. Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability. Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met. Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices. This is a permanent full time position to cover holiday and sickness. Therefore, a flexible approach is required as the position will involve covering both day and night work, including weekends as and when required. Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence. Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated. Competitive Salary : 800 per week (Monday to Friday) Shift Hours: Days start between 02:30hrs - 07:00hrs, Nights start between 16:00hrs - 18:00hrs Overtime : Saturdays - 16.67 per hour, Sundays - 17.27 per hour PLUS for all hours worked between 21:00hrs & 04:00hrs, you will receive an additional 2.75 per hour. Training : DCPC training during your employment, Monthly Courses for a variety of areas.
