Your Role:
As Head Chef, you'll be responsible for:
* Planning and preparing nutritious meals tailored to residents' dietary needs
* Leading and mentoring kitchen staff
* Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
* Managing kitchen budgets and stock control
* Creating seasonal menus that bring joy and comfort
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
* Knowledge of dietary requirements in care settings (e.g., soft diets, diabetic-friendly meals)
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3 (or willingness to obtain)
* A caring and compassionate approach to food service
* An Enhanced Adult & Child DBS Certificate dated within the last 2 years or on the Update Service
