Salary: £13.45 per hour (Real Living Wage employer)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, deployed across a fortnightly rota

Contract: Permanent

Location: South Northamptonshire (various sites near Towcester and Daventry)

Closing date: Friday, 3rd July (date may be extended)

Do you want to be part of a unique community where people live, work, learn and celebrate life together?

About the role:

Camphill Milton Keynes is proud to have recently welcomed four new residential homes into their portfolio. We’re looking for Support Workers to join our team at these residential care homes in South Northamptonshire, supporting adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilling lives.

This is hands‑on, person‑centred care work. You’ll support residents with their daily routines, personal care, mealtimes, activities and health needs — building genuine relationships and helping people thrive. You’ll act as key worker for a group of residents, maintaining their support plans and working closely with families and other professionals.

The role may include day shifts, evening shifts, sleep‑ins and waking night shifts on a rotating basis, including weekends and bank holidays. A full UK driving licence is highly desirable as our homes are in rural locations.

About us:

Camphill Milton Keynes Communities is a registered charity providing residential care and support for adults with learning disabilities. We’re a values‑driven organisation with a long track record of person‑centred care, and we’re expanding our services into South Northamptonshire.

What we offer:

* £13.45 per hour — we’re a Real Living Wage employer
* 30 days' annual leave, including bank holidays, rising with length of service
* Enhanced company sick pay from three months' service
* Contributory pension scheme
* Full training and ongoing professional development
* A supportive, stable team environment with a charity that invests in its people

What we’re looking for:

* A caring, empathetic approach and genuine commitment to supporting people with learning disabilities
* Good communication skills and the ability to keep clear, accurate records
* Flexibility to work across a rotating shift pattern, including sleep‑ins and waking nights
* Full UK driving licence (highly desirable)
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check

Experience in social care is welcome but not essential — we provide full training. What matters most is the right attitude and values.

The most important things are a caring attitude, a genuine interest in people and a willingness to work in accordance with our Mission and Vision Statement.

We are an equal opportunities employer that promotes diversity within our workforce and welcomes applications from all sections of the community, regardless of sexual orientation, race, age, gender, disability, religion or belief.

All offers of employment are subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK.
