Support Worker - 16+ Supported Living Service
Location: Leicester
Pay: £12.50 - £13.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Long days & sleep-ins, 37.5 hours per week (Please note: Sponsorship is not available for this role)

We're thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity to join our client's dedicated team as a Support Worker within their 16+ Supported Living service. This is more than just a job-it's a chance to empower young people and help shape their futures.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality, person-centred care to young people aged 16 and over. You'll support them in building independence, developing essential life skills, and strengthening emotional resilience-all while ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
Your work will make a real impact, helping young people transition confidently into adulthood.
What You'll Be Doing
* Provide safe, person-centred support in line with each young person's support plan and risk assessment
* Promote independence, confidence, and positive decision‑making
* Support young people to attend education, training, work, and appointments
* Maintain accurate and timely case notes, daily logs, and incident reports
* Uphold safeguarding procedures and report concerns in line with policy and legislation
* Work in accordance with Ofsted regulations, Children Act 1989/2004, and company policies
* Support young people to maintain safe accommodation and positive routines
* Work collaboratively with social workers, local authorities, and external professionals
* Always maintain professional boundaries and act as a positive role model
What We're Looking For
* Experience in supporting young people aged 16+
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
* Excellent communication skills and flexibility
* Basic IT skills (office, outlook, database)
* Safeguarding and child protection
* Trauma‑informed care
* Risk assessment and management
* Professional boundaries
Desirable:
* Previous experience in care, supported living, or youth work
* UK drivers' licence
* Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
