Are you a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager with a passion for engineering and defence contracts? Ready to lead cutting-edge Fire Detection projects for navies worldwide?
At Johnson Controls, we are seeking a driven individual to manage Fire Detection projects on military vessels. You'll be at the forefront of ensuring our systems are delivered efficiently on time, and within budget while liaising directly with clients and internal teams.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Project Oversight: Manage and deliver Fire Detection projects for military vessels.
Client Collaboration: Interpret technical specifications, contracts, and engage with clients.
Resource Coordination: Work with design teams, suppliers, and procurement specialists.
Logistics & Documentation: Organise shipments, handle documentation, and oversee delivery packages.
Budget & Reporting: Maintain financial responsibility, track costs, and provide billing forecasts.
Planning & Execution: Use MS Project and other tools to ensure smooth project progression.
Travel Opportunities: UK-based role with occasional travel.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
10. Proven experience in Project Management
11. Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and teams
12. Ability to interpret complex technical specifications
13. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
14. Full UK Driving Licence & UK Passport
15. Ability to obtain SC UK MOD Security Clearance
Desirable Skills:
16. Project Management Qualification
17. HNC/HND in Engineering or related field
18. Marine Industry expertise & MoD contract experience
19. Background in engineering manufacturing
20. Familiarity with Fire Detection Systems
21. Experience using MS Project or planning tools
