We’re hiring for a fixed-term summer project (March – July/August) with a leading FMCG business in Ledbury. This is your chance to work at the heart of production during peak season, keeping operations running smoothly while building valuable, hands-on experience.
⚙️ The Role
As a Process Technician, you’ll play a key part in keeping production lines running efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. It’s a dynamic, fast-moving environment where your attention to detail and teamwork will make a real impact.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
o Operating production machinery and equipment within your area
o Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent output
o Maintaining a safe working environment and identifying potential hazards
o Completing production records, logs, and quality documentation
o Supporting product changeovers to meet production schedules
o Ensuring high standards of hygiene and housekeeping (GMP)
o Following production plans to hit daily targets
o Escalating any issues to the Team Leader
o Supporting waste reduction and “clean as you go” practices
o Learning and using the SCADA system
🎯 What We’re Looking For
o A strong understanding of GMP or food manufacturing standards (preferred)
o Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset
o Ability to follow processes and work to production schedules
o Good numerical and analytical skills
o Basic IT skills (Excel, Word; SAP is a bonus)
o A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
o Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts (days, nights & weekends)
