What you will do
The Sales Consultant - Fire Sprinklers will focus on solutions sales to drive installation and service revenue within the Tyco Regional Accounts Channel. Responsibilities include developing existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and understanding technical specifications to prepare proposals. Support from Estimators/Technical Bid Managers will be available for complex bids. All activities are managed via Salesforce.com, aiming to grow the sales pipeline and improve conversion rates.
How you will do it
* Generate leads through proactive business development activities and collaborate across channels.
* Plan accounts and territories to identify growth opportunities, setting SMART objectives.
* Identify and qualify opportunities, forming bid teams for large or complex projects.
* Survey sites, prepare costs, specifications, and quotations.
* Advance AMR opportunities, expand existing contracts, and retain current customers.
* Deliver technical and bid presentations to clients or stakeholders.
* Manage sales pipeline actively, recording all relevant information and next steps.
* Develop sales and negotiation skills through coaching and experience.
* Utilize Salesforce.com for all sales activities and performance tracking.
* Maintain and develop product and technical knowledge through ongoing training.
* Ensure compliance with internal processes, legal, and environmental policies, including safety standards.
