Flexera is seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager to lead our efforts in shaping and enhancing the Data Platform, particularly on third party integration, common platform services. As the Principal Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving analytics, improving the share service functionality, and unifying the user experience across the platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to deliver innovative and customer-centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Flexera One Data Platform, aligning it with company goals and customer needs.
2. Analytics Leadership: Drive the development and implementation of advanced analytics capabilities within the platform, enabling customers to gain actionable insights from their data.
3. Share Service Enhancement: Lead efforts to enhance the shared service functionality, allowing for seamless collaboration and data sharing among users and teams.
4. Unified User Experience: Create a unified and intuitive user experience across the platform, ensuring consistency in design and usability.
5. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to prioritize and deliver features, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
7. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to gather feedback, understand their pain points, and incorporate their input into product development.
8. Roadmap Execution: Drive the successful execution of the product roadmap, monitoring progress, and making adjustments as necessary to deliver value to customers.
9. Documentation: Create and maintain product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and other relevant materials.
Qualifications:
10. Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
11. Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a track record of successfully delivering software products.
12. Strong analytical skills and experience with data analytics tools and techniques.
13. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
14. A customer-centric mindset with the ability to translate customer needs into actionable product features.
15. Experience with SaaS and cloud-based platforms is a plus.
16. Familiarity with IT asset management, software licensing, or related domains is advantageous.
17. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and work in an agile development environment.
