Clean Water Civil Engineer - Civil to Senior Principal Civil Engineer

Our civil engineering team is looking for Civil, Senior, Principal and Senior Principal Civil Engineers to deliver innovative and exciting projects in the water sector across our UK office locations. Stantec has been successful across the UK, awarded multiple contracts with UK water companies and leading the challenging AMP8 programme. Your role will involve strategic support across project lifecycles: asset management, strategy, feasibility, conceptual design, outline and detailed design, and design within build partnerships. Civil engineers will design solutions to meet drinking water quality regulations amid climate change, resource and catchment management, evolving regulations, community growth, and infrastructure maintenance. You will address water scarcity using innovative technologies and large‑scale national infrastructure.
Experience in the design and specification of water infrastructure, pipelines, water treatment facilities and service reservoirs is required. Our teams cover the full spectrum of drinking water projects at all levels and stages of design, working closely with specialists in pipeline technology, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, digital design and more.
About You
You will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering. Ideally, you are Chartered and a member of a relevant engineering institution.
Previous experience in the water industry is preferred. You will have a track record of developing solutions from needs identification and feasibility through to outline and detailed design, collaborating across disciplines and supporting other civil engineers. You will deliver design deliverables within required timescales and budgets.
