Opportunities have arisen to join our East Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) at Bitterne Park Medical Centre or our Mental Health Liaison Psychiatry Team at Princess Ann Hospital, Southampton. We are looking for efficient, motivated Administrators / Team Secretaries to provide high-quality support to our busy friendly teams.
The teams offer secondary care for adults aged 18-65 with severe and enduring mental health issues. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the office, supporting clinicians with day-to-day tasks and delivering a professional, compassionate service. Duties include handling sensitive/ confidential information, answering calls from service users and maintaining accurate records using Microsoft Office and other systems.
You will have:

East CMHT Shifts: 9 to 5 Monday to Friday weekends and bank holidays not required
Liaison Psychiatry Shifts: Rotating shift pattern 07:00--15:00, 09:00--17:00, 13:00--21:00 across 365 days a year including weekends and bank holidays
Flexibility to work at other admin sites is also required on occasion.

Main duties of the job
To provide a comprehensive administration and secretarial service to the multi-disciplinary team.
The postholder will be responsible for the organisation of their own workload and delegated decisions/actions as deemed appropriate by the Admin Manager or Team Leader.
The principle of high-quality customer care is at the heart of this role and the needs of the service user will be the team's utmost priority.
