Your new role
1. Produce 3D models of parts & assemblies.
2. Produce 2D detail drawings of parts and 2D assembly drawing.
3. Produce electrical harness routing and equipment layouts.
4. Produce 2D and 3DPDFs of electrical harness and equipment layouts.
5. Assembly and BOM configuration.
6. Release of engineering drawings followingpany release procedures.
7. Change management of engineering drawings followingpany release procedures.
8. Support prototype hardware build through NPI development.
9. Contribute to design solutions.
10. Work collaboratively as part of an integrated project team.
11. Deliver work packages to the project plan.
12. Work within thepany procedures as laid out in the Design Office Handbook.
What you'll need to succeed
13. Hold a relevant Degree/Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or a minimum of 2 years working in an engineering environment
14. Previous experience with one of the design software packages such as AutoCad, Pro E, Solidworks, Catia etc
15. Proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
16. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills to interface with customers, manufacturing, suppliers and production
17. Results driven with a can-do attitude to ensure solutions
18. Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
Desirable
19. Experience of Electrical Design within a design and manufacturing environment
20. Previous 3D Harness routing or Pipe routing experience
21. Previous experience writing test plans/reports
