We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor for our client based in Leeds.
As Operations Supervisor you will ensure you provide day to day supervisory and/or coordination support to a team of operational and/or clerical employees, or contractors and report to Manager.
Department: Air Network, Road Network, Hub Operations, Storage, Fashion & Solution, Hub & Transport Operations, Ground Operations
Responsibilities
* Day to day team tasks as well as delegated first level employee related activities as defined by local policies.
* Day to day performance monitoring/management and development discussions.
* Employee related administration duties
* Support inital and informal disiplinary action activities and, in the case of contractors,contract management, under the supervision of relevant mamagement.
* Plan and organise own work on daily/weekly basis.
* Implement exsisting and new processes and procedures.
* Interact with First Line Management/Senior Management
* Occasional interaction with external customer/suppliers & vendors/government agencies/authorities.
* May be required to perform other duties asassigned
Relevant Experience: 1-3 years
Skills: Leadership, Team working,Problem solving,Planning and organising,Accuracy & attention to detail.
Job Requirement: Secondary education
