Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements:
* Proven experience analysing customer requirements and producing high-level and low-level network designs using technologies from multiple leading vendors
* Ability to evaluate customer strategy, operations and processes, translating these into effective technical solutions that improve performance
* Strong background in technical leadership and ownership, guiding solution design and delivery across all phases of large-scale projects
* Broad networking expertise including: Juniper / Cisco switching and configuration (or similar), WAN routing MPLS and BGP, Network gateways, VPNs and remote access (e.g. AnyConnect)
* Experience with Cisco Firepower, Gigamon, Palo Alto or similar
* Knowledge of protocols such as SNMP, TCP, TLS, PKI, Sockets API
* Understanding of platforms used to collect, analyse and store security event data, including automation and orchestration of incident response
* Experience with performance testing of cyber monitoring tools, sizing, capacity planning and troubleshooting
* Solid appreciation of end-to-end project lifecycles with commercial awareness of risks and dependencies
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the confidence to make timely, informed decisions
* Eligible and willing to undergo a high level of security clearance
Responsibilities:
* Take technical ownership of projects focused on cyber monitoring and remote access
* Lead the analysis of new requirements and shape technical solutions
* Provide expert guidance across the full project lifecycle
* Act as a senior technical authority producing high-level designs
* Oversee proof-of-concept activities
* Ensure that delivered solutions align with customer strategy, security standards and operational needs
