Key Responsibilities of the Junior SQL DBA:
As part of our SQL team, you'll provide DBA support to managed service clients and, as your confidence grows, get involved in exciting database consultancy projects.
Your role will include:
1. Resolving database support requests from managed service clients
2. Proactively monitoring and responding to automated SQL alerts
3. Carrying out SQL Server performance reviews and tuning
4. Supporting and delivering database consulting projects as part of a team
5. Hands-on system administration including installs, upgrades, patching and fixes
