We’re currently recruiting for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our I&C Sales and Retention team. You’ll be responsible for delivering sustainable revenue growth and industry-leading customer retention. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you’ll develop and execute strategies that not only deliver value but also align with our commitment to innovation, social value, and environmental impact.. WHAT WILL YOUR TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE? Developing and executing growth-focused sales and retention strategies. Generating and nurturing leads through networking, outreach, and digital channels. Identifying and onboarding new channel partners and managing key TPI relationships. Managing a live and accurate sales pipeline, progressing opportunities through to close. Preparing persuasive proposals and pitches tailored to customer needs. Leading commercial negotiations and pricing discussions. Review and validate contractual terms and conditions. Support smooth customer onboarding, working collaboratively with internal teams. Embedding sustainability, innovation, and social value into customer propositions. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within utilities or service-based industries. Strong commercial acumen with a history of closing deals and achieving growth targets. Confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage across all levels. Experience managing partner or channel sales, including TPIs. A self-motivated collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment. Proficient in using CRM systems to manage pipeline and track performance. Bonus if you bring knowledge of the water retail market, water efficiency solutions or broader sustainability initiatives Please refer to the essential criteria in the job description as this is what you will be shortlisted against.
