Overview
Chelmer Valley High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join the Department on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. This opportunity would also be suitable for a teacher of Humanities. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the Geography Department
Geography sits within the Humanities Area at Chelmer and includes Geography, History, Religion, Philosophy and Ethics (RPE), and Sociology. Geography is a hugely popular subject at Chelmer Valley High School with many classes studying the subject at GCSE and A level. The Geography Department is progressive and dynamic, who facilitate lessons that enhance the learning experience of all students.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Contribute to a vibrant Humanities team and support cross-curricular learning where appropriate.
