I am partnered with a national commercial law firm who are seeking a skilled Senior IT Support Technician to provide invaluable 1st and 2nd line support to their team of legal professionals. This is a mix of remote working and coming into the office (Northwest England) when required to deal with any IT issues.
Role Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive 1st and 2nd line support to lawyers and staff, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
* Monitor hardware and software upgrades, implementing changes seamlessly to optimize system performance.
* Liaise effectively with 3rd party IT providers to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
* Manage software licenses, including Office 365, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness.
* Demonstrate proficiency in supporting Microsoft 365 and other essential software products such as Adobe, Mimecast, Docusign, and RMM/MDM.
* Oversee hosted systems used in the legal profession, including the firm’s Case Management System, to maintain operational efficiency.
Skills Requirements:
* Proven experience providing IT support in a professional environment, preferably within the legal sector.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite and other popular software products used in legal settings.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Detail-oriented approach to managing software licenses and system upgrades, ensuring compliance and cost control.
* Proactive mindset, able to anticipate and mitigate potential IT challenges before they impact productivity.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are a plus.
