Field Service Engineer

Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is searching for a Field Service Engineer to cover the Cambridge and Northamptonshire area for our client, a leading supplier of machinery to the printing industry. The purpose of the role is to provide first-line support to customers using advanced printing equipment, ensuring service levels are met and helping customers achieve the best printing quality.
Key Duties
* Carry out interventions, scheduled and preventive maintenance at customer sites to ensure machine efficiency.
* Provide phone support on machinery, finishing equipment, and workflow.
* Conduct site surveys in preparation for machine installations.
* Install machines and ensure full acceptance of production lines with support from HQ installation team.
Requirements
* Previous field service experience, ideally in electronics, electrical, or printing and graphics.
* Practical knowledge of IT hardware and software.
* Flexible, proactive, and team-oriented with a structured approach to work.
