The Company
A leading retailer is looking for a data-driven Digital Performance Manager to take ownership of its website, app, and SEO strategy. You’ll play a key role in shaping the digital experience across multiple customer touchpoints — driving engagement, performance, and long-term growth through analytics, UX optimisation, and cross-functional collaboration.
The Role
As Digital Performance Manager, you’ll act as the product owner for web and app platforms, leading on strategy, delivery, and optimisation. You’ll combine hands-on analytics with commercial thinking to enhance digital performance and ensure the best possible customer experience.
You’ll be responsible for:
* Developing and delivering the digital performance strategy across web, app, and SEO
* Overseeing UX enhancements, prioritising initiatives based on data and stakeholder input
* Defining and implementing SEO strategy to improve visibility and organic growth
* Partnering with design and development teams on front-end improvements
* Managing budgets and forecasting ROI across digital initiatives
* Engaging with local digital managers to share best practice, training, and insight
* Monitoring performance through analytics tools and guest feedback to drive continuous improvement
Your Skills and Experience
You’ll bring a mix of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and hands-on digital expertise, including:
* Proven experience managing web, app, and SEO performance
* Strong grasp of user experience design and digital best practice
* Experience with Content Management Systems such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal or SquareSpace
* Confident using data to make informed decisions and influence senior stakeholders
* Analytical mindset with a focus on ROI, reach, and engagement metrics
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Ability to balance long-term strategic vision with short-term delivery
