About the Role
* We are seeking an Analytical Laboratory Assistant to provide hands-on support in a regulated laboratory environment. The role involves executing analytical tests, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation of laboratory work in line with GxP standards. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with laboratory experience looking to contribute to product development and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare laboratory solutions and reagents for analytical testing
* Execute and document experiments according to written protocols
* Support process transfer, process improvement, and process validation activities
* Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and support lab housekeeping
* Ensure accurate and compliant documentation of all laboratory work (ALCOA++ principles)
* Manage laboratory consumables, including ordering and stock maintenance
* Support problem-solving and investigation of out-of-specification or out-of-trend results
Skills & Experience Required:
* Experience handling general laboratory glassware and equipment (pipettes, filters, balances, etc.)
* Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (ALCOA++)
* Familiarity with GxP regulations, SOPs, and laboratory safety procedures
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Strong organizational skills and time management
* Ability to follow protocols accurately and communicate results clearly
Education:
* BSc in Life Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related field) preferred
* Minimum A-level Chemistry or equivalent required
Preferred Experience / Background:
* 1–3 years’ laboratory experience in analytical, QA/QC, or regulated environments
* Experience in analytical testing for pharmaceutical or medical device products is desirable
