An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Rural Surveyor / Land Agent to join a highly regarded and well-established property consultancy operating in the East Midlands. This firm is known for its independent, multi-disciplinary approach, providing expert advice and services across residential, commercial, and rural sectors.
This role is ideal for a recent graduate seeking to build a long-term career in rural surveying. You'll gain hands-on experience working closely with senior professionals across a diverse range of rural property matters-from estate management and valuations to renewable energy and planning.
The Role
You will be supporting a busy and growing rural team, involved in a broad range of work including:
* Estate and property management
* Diversification and rural planning
* Valuations, taxation, and succession planning
* Landlord and tenant matters (FBTs, Grazing Licences, Contract Farming Agreements)
* Guidance on agri-environment schemes and grant applications
* Sales and acquisitions of land and property
* Infrastructure and utility compensation claims
* Renewable energy projects
Candidate Profile
* Degree-level qualification in a relevant subject
* Ambition to work towards professional accreditation (e.g., RICS, CAAV)
* Some relevant experience is beneficial but not essential
* Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office
* Proactive and commercially minded
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
* Motivated, honest, and a strong team player
