My client, a manufacturing company based near Dudley is looking to recruit an Operations Manager on a Permanent basis. You will be responsible for the overall running of the site as well as another site in the Worcestershire area, supporting across different areas of the business including, Production, Quality, Maintenance, Logistics and Stock Control. You will also be responsible for managing the Team Leaders across the sites, ensuring the day-to-day operations run as smoothly as possible. The main responsibilities associated with the role include - Manage Team Leaders across the site - Ensure production targets are achieved - Support ongoing key operational projects - Support Quality Team to ensure best practice is been followed - Liaise with all areas of the business as required - Identify areas of operational improvements and implement appropriately As a suitable candidate you will offer the following - Proven experience within a Manufacturing/Engineering environment - Excellent Communication skills with an ability to mange in a supportive and engaging manner - Excellent IT skills including MS Office and ideally SAGE - Previous experience in managing quality systems and audits - Data driven decision-maker - Working knowledge across different areas of the business incl Production Planning, Quality, H & S, Logistics and Purchasing The salary on offer will be determined by the suitable candidates relevant experience Skills Required Production Planning, Quality, H & S, Logistics, Purchasing, Buying, Operations, Supervisor, Lean, Keywords Ops Manager, Operations Manager, Manufacturing, Engineering, Health and Safety
