Newstaff Employment is hiring dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants in Milton Keynes to support primary school pupils, where you will work closely with teachers to create a positive learning environment and help children overcome academic challenges.

Key Responsibilities
1. Support teachers when planning and delivering engaging lessons; therefore, pupils stay focused and motivated
2. Provide one-to-one and small group support so students can meet their learning targets
3. Assist during classroom activities and adapt tasks to suit individual needs
4. Manage classroom behaviour proactively to maintain a safe and supportive setting
5. Prepare and organise classroom resources to keep lessons running smoothly
6. Monitor pupil progress and share clear feedback with teaching staff
7. Contribute to a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued
8. Attend school events and meetings when required to support the wider school community
Essential Skills & Experience
9. Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
11. Patient and supportive approach to learning
12. Ability to work collaboratively within a teaching team
13. Reliable and adaptable attitude
14. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
