Job Title: Early Help Lead
To provide leadership, support, and challenge to agencies and Lead Professionals to ensure excellent, multi-agency Early Help is provided for children, young people, and their families.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Dip SW/CQSW or equivalent level degree in a relevant children's service (e.g., education, health, youth work, youth justice).
2. Sound knowledge and experience of safeguarding issues, applying legislation, policy, and procedures to practice, including relevant assessment frameworks and integrated working.
3. Knowledge and understanding of multi-agency and partnership working, and the variety of services available to families.
4. Ability to develop positive relationships and build confidence and understanding with colleagues, partners, and citizens.
5. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
6. Ability to influence and develop strategy and practice across a range of disciplines.
7. Substantial post-qualifying experience within children's services or a related field.
8. A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
