Band 6 Physiotherapist Rotational Post in Rehabilitation/Intermediate Care
Type: Permanent, full-time (37 hours/week) at Band 6 (£39,912 - £48,635 per annum)
We seek an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our Rehabilitation & Intermediate Care rotations in Grampian.
The rotations last 12 months. The successful candidate will provide advanced physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, and treatment across various settings, including Intermediate Care, Hospital@Home, Specialist Rehabilitation (inpatient and outpatient), Mental Health, and Community services. Travel within Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen city is expected.
The post involves supervising junior staff, including support workers and students, and working effectively within multidisciplinary and multi-agency teams. This role offers opportunities to develop skills in managing complex conditions across diverse clinical environments.
NHS Grampian physiotherapy teams serve the North East of Scotland, covering regions from the Cairngorms to the North Sea, including Moray. The hospital site encompasses all clinical specialties except organ transplant and pediatric ICU. NHS Grampian provides healthcare for approximately 540,000 residents, with 40% in Aberdeen and 60% in Aberdeenshire and Moray.
Aberdeen offers a vibrant city life, while Aberdeenshire features picturesque towns, outdoor pursuits like skiing, and excellent transport links, including flights to London and Europe. Assistance with relocation may be available.
A valid UK driving license and car for work purposes are required.
Regular support, supervision, and CPD opportunities will be provided.
