Outside IR35 My Client is seeking a contractor to provide High Voltage Electrical Engineering services for a period of 12 months. This service can be provided from either Middlesbrough, Warrington. Job Role Responsibilities: Site, surveys, visits and client meetings HV Electrical Cable routing drawings & cable schedules HV Electrical Engineering Design HV Electrical cable diagrams, Loop diagrams HV Electrical installation Scope of Work documents HV Electrical datasheets Checking and approval of Engineering Design Prepare vendor packs for invitation to tender and vendor liaison Technical evaluations of estimates Liaise with other disciplines; process, piping, mechanical, civil structural to co-ordinate requirements for vendor packages and design Technical assistance on equipment specifications and compliance of bids Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications: You must possess suitable and relevant qualifications within EC&I, minimum of an HNC preferably a degree. Experience of relevant HV calculations, problem solving and ensuring projects remain to specification within set timescales and to budget A good working knowledge of ATEX Directives for selection of electrical equipment in Hazardous Areas would be beneficial. You must have experience attending and representing at Project Meetings with a range of stakeholders. Distribution and motor control experience is desirable as is experience of Pro / Engineer software Demonstrable experience of UK onshore HV Electrical Engineering within a COMAH environment.
