Production Engineer

Permanent role with starting salary of £28,000
Our client based in Woking are seeking a Production Engineer to play a key role in developing innovative products for the business. The successful candidate will be involved in the complete product development lifecycle, ensuring products meet high-quality standards and align with customer and market requirements.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Create 2D and 3D CAD models for new products
* Use 3D printing for prototyping to validate and refine designs.
* Produce manufacturing drawings and create products on the system
* Work closely with teams across the business including manufacturing, marketing, and compliance
* Working towards project deadlines
* Liaise with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
* Work with marketing to establish unique selling points and benefits for each product.
* Redesign existing products to enhance performance and ensure compliance
* Implement cost-effective solutions while maintaining product quality
* Produce technical data sheets, manufacturing drawings and design documentation
Requirements:
* Relevant degree in Engineering, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering or similar
* Strong written English skills
* Experience in a manufacturing role would be advantageous
* CAD software experience would be ideal
* Strong problem-solving skills
