You’ll act as the main point of contact between the Urdd, Newport City Council, and the National Trust Cymru team.In the lead up to the event, you’ll work closely with property colleagues and our Specialist Delivery Team to develop a detailed understanding of the site, services, utilities, and operational constraints. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across multiple disciplines to ensure National Trust policies, health and safety processes, and governance requirements are fully implemented, with clear and accurate record keeping throughout.You’ll take the lead in coordinating and supporting the safe and smooth set up, delivery, and de rig of the festival, playing a key operational role during the event itself.You’ll support effective communication with colleagues, stakeholders, tenants, and supporters, ensuring everyone feels informed, engaged, and prepared. During the festival, you’ll act as the main National Trust contact on site, coordinating resources and responding to issues as they arise.You’ll also work with colleagues and partners to develop fundraising and engagement opportunities, helping an estimated 90,000 visitors enjoy a brilliant experience while deepening their connection with the National Trust’s charitable cause.
