HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
Salary: £53,300 (Nights) / £43,900 (Days)

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Shifts: Days or Nights available (Nights = Sun - Weds / Days = Weds - Sat)
We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy fleet maintenance workshop in Wakefield. You’ll be working on a range of HGVs – mainly Scania – as well as various trailers which will include Fridge Trailers.
The workshop is fully equipped with 9 bays, vehicle lifts, pits and a full MOT lane, providing everything our HGV Technicians need to do the job safely and efficiently.
The Role:
Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on HGVs and trailers
Diagnose and rectify faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
Work as part of a skilled team of HGV Technicians ensuring vehicles are maintained to VOSA standards
Complete all paperwork accurately and on time
Shift Patterns:
Nights: Sunday to Wednesday 6pm - 6am (12-hour shifts)
Days: Wednesday to Saturday 6am - 5.45pm
Both options are permanent roles with stable hours and great earning potential.
