JOB TITLE: Senior Business Support Assistant

Pay rate: £13.48 PAYE per hour
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days on-site, 3 days WFH)
The role:
Our client is seeking a highly organised Senior Business Support Assistant to provide high-level secretariat and administrative support to senior leadership within Children & Family Services. The ideal candidate will have experience managing diaries, preparing and minuting meetings, and liaising with external partners. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide secretarial and PA-style support to Directors and Heads of Service
• Arrange and minute complex meetings and appointments
• Manage generic inboxes and act as first point of contact for enquiries
• Support database and reporting functions, including FOI responses
• Produce professional documents and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
What the client is looking for:
• Previous experience in a similar PA/Secretariat role
• Strong Microsoft Office and data management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to manage multiple priorities professionally and discreetly
Role length: 3-month initial contract
Job type: Temporary
Location: Glenfield, LE3 8RA
Hours: 37 hours per week | Monday–Friday
Contract Type: Full-time, Hybrid
