About the Role
Visible Alpha is adding a new Sales Representative to London Sales team. You are highly motivated and excel at selling SaaS services into financial institutions. An understanding of capital markets - specifically equity research is a plus.
What You'll Do
1. Generate new business revenue selling SaaS / Financial Services products to buy-side investment.
2. Network and build relationships with the investment industry
3. Drive the full sales-cycle, including initial pitch and demonstration, managing multi-user trials, and contract negotiation.
4. Work effectively with colleagues and team members to communicate customer needs, product enhancement opportunities, and competitive gaps
5. Collaborate with marketing to drive strategy around generating brand awareness and new business
Who You Are
6. Sales experience selling/closing sell-side fundamental research, data, or analytics to the Institutional Asset Management, Hedge Fund, Investment Banking space
7. Strong financial knowledge and understanding of the investment research process on the buy-side
8. Product experience in data & analytical solutions focused on equity capital markets required; experience with data & analytics used in equity research a plus.
9. Desire to sell bottom-up (user-by-user) and top-down (C-Level). Motivated by bottom-up selling with comfort in managing C-Level conversations.
10. History of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
11. BA/BS Degree; CFA, or desire to obtain the CFA designation, a plus but not required
