Role overview

Location: Based at Stevenage (region includes Harlow and Addenbrookes sites)

Salary: Salary dependant on experience + Overtime

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 17.00 pm (40 hours per week)

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

About the role

The MAC Planner role will be based at GSK in Stevenage and will provide Moves, Adds and Changes (MAC) services to the site including both Project and BAU works.

The individual should possess excellent customer service skills, be process driven, financially aware and be able to demonstrate experience of delivering moves and furniture refresh project activities. The individual should value honesty and a strong team culture.

What you'll do:
1. Be responsible for managing structured moves and relocations, working closely with the MAC team and specialists to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
2. Oversee all aspects of MAC projects—including planning, budgeting, health & safety, contractor coordination, and compliance with processes and KPIs.
3. Respond to short-notice relocation requests, support space utilisation strategies, and maintain accurate CAFM (Serraview) records.
4. Lead person moves and furniture upgrade projects, ensuring stakeholder engagement and timely handovers.
5. Host and monitor contractor works (including out-of-hours), ensuring documentation, safety standards, and EMCOR procedures are followed.
6. Maintain FF&E databases, perform quality checks, and support audit readiness.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy, manage ServiceNow tickets, and report incidents.
8. Promote EMCOR’s Be There for Life initiative, meet contract deliverables, and uphold KPIs and SLAs.
Who you'll be:
9. Experience directly related to the delivery of strategic Moves, Adds and Changes services, or equivalent combination of education and experience, focus on customer service.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
11. Able to deliver high quality work by following standard processes, methodology and customer service standards.
12. Able to resolve operational problems, drive continuous improvement and innovation.
13. Able to liaise with stakeholders across functions, service providers and all levels of seniority, including IT, FM and Engineering Teams.
14. Proven ability to be self-motivated, well-organised, work under own initiative and to work well within a strong team culture. Willingness to develop self, support and develop others.
15. Good finance knowledge and budget management skills including forecasting and cost control.
16. Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, including excel.
Desirable:
17. Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Facilities Management and Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems.
18. Proficiency in software relevant to Moves, Adds and Changes services management e.g. Serraview, ServiceNow, Power BI/dashboard.
19. Possess valid driver’s license, required for inter-site business travel.
