Key Details:
1. Salary: £11,500 per session depending on experience and responsibilities
2. Contract Type: GMS
3. Indemnity: Provided through a group scheme with the MDU
4. Holiday: 6 weeks per year, plus 1 week study leave
5. NHS Pension: Yes
6. Sessions: 6-8 sessions per week
7. Location: Two modern, purpose-built sites in Torquay, with on-site parking

About:
14. Patient List Size: 20,000 patients, predominantly elderly due to the area being a popular retirement location
15. Team Size: The practice consists of 13 GPs, along with 6 Nurses, 2 Pharmacists, and other clinical support staff
16. Building Facilities: Newly renovated, purpose-built sites with modern infrastructure and on-site parking across two locations
17. Training Practice: They are an established training practice, affiliated with Plymouth University, and they train GPs, medical students, nurses, paramedics, and overseas doctors
Role Responsibilities:
18. Clinical Work: Each session involves around 16-17 patient consultations (a mix of face-to-face and telephone consultations)
19. Duty Doctor: A 1 in 4 rota, where salaried GPs work a duty day per week
20. Admin Time: Protected admin time is included, and the practice offers flexibility in terms of workload management
What They are Looking For:
21. GMC-registered GP (or those awaiting registration) with a passion for patient care
22. Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to reducing GP burnout
23. Full UK driving license would be ideal (required for travel between clinics)
24. Newly-qualified GPs are welcome to apply.
25. Interest in innovative practices, including the possibility of offering private work such as joint injections (not mandatory but a plus)
