Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Tutor to join our team, focusing on Looked After Children students. You will play a vital role in supporting their academic progress and personal development, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide one-on-one and group tutoring sessions in a variety of subjects.
2. Tailor lessons to meet individual student needs and learning styles.
3. Support students in developing study skills, self-confidence, and academic resilience.
4. Collaborate with carers, social workers, and school staff to create a supportive learning environment.
5. Monitor and report on student progress.
6. Attend training sessions and professional development as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Experience working with Looked After Children or vulnerable student groups.
2. Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Patience, empathy, and a passion for making a difference in students' lives.
5. Flexibility and adaptability in responding to student needs.
