Overview

Head of Talent Acquisition at ScottishPower. Senior UX Designer (User Experience Lead) role based at ScottishPower HQ, Glasgow. Permanent, hybrid (2-3 days in the office per week). Salary: £57-72K with up to 15% bonus, private healthcare and 15% pension.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Lead the User Experience (UX) strategy and ensure a customer/user-centric approach across Transformation projects.
* Define customer journeys and coordinate planning and delivery of solutions by leading a small team of UX Designers to create a best-in-class digital experience.
* Collaborate with the Transformation Architecture & Strategy team and Value Stream Leads to ensure customer experience is at the forefront of solutions.
* Implement customer satisfaction monitoring across main touchpoints within the digital portfolio.
* Use and manage a design library to create consistent standards.
* Drive optimum website and app layout, continually assess user data and map customer journeys to optimise UX.
* Gain insights from user data and customer feedback to identify trends, problem areas and implement UX improvements. Lead innovation workshops to prioritise solutions to top customer problems/needs.
* Work with business owners and process experts to remove blockers for the UX team, ensuring the right tools and policies are in place.
* Lead an end-to-end design process with a UX team, organising tasks within the team.
* Involve in research, designing user flows, creating wireframes, developing interactive prototypes, usability testing and analysing feedback to refine products.
* Support research for digital initiatives with a focus on ensuring projects are driven by the voice of the customer.
* Influence product roadmaps using data from primary and secondary customer research to identify user-focused solutions to top problems.
* Update outdated user experiences and interfaces, communicating processes effectively to customers through strong information design and best practices.


What You’ll Bring

* Experience using analytics platforms e.g. Glassbox or equivalent, Google Analytics.
* Ability to interpret complex user data, combining quantitative and qualitative information to gain insights and map trends.
* Customer-focused approach.
* Experience running an end-to-end design process.
* Experience of copywriting.
* Knowledge of innovation methodologies such as design thinking and lean startup.
* Experience working in Agile environments, using tools like Jira, Adobe Creative Suite and Figma (or similar).
