Family Solicitor

* Experience: 1-3 years PQE
* Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays, birthday off, and Christmas closure
My client in Newcastle is looking for a Family Solicitor with 1-3 years PQE to join their busy, growing and supportive firm. The role requires experience in private family law, particularly in handling cases involving divorce, financial settlements, and private law children matters. The firm are committed to staff development and progression, with clear succession planning in place. They are seeking candidates who are looking to build a long-term career with them, with opportunities for advancement.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Manage a caseload involving divorce, financial disputes, and private law children's cases alongside wider family matters.
* Provide expert legal advice to clients on all aspects of private family law.
* Draft and prepare legal documents and represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings.
* Maintain clear and accurate case files and correspondence.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to client care and department growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* A qualified Solicitor with 1-3 years PQE in private family law.
* Demonstrated experience in managing cases involving divorce, financial settlements, and private law children matters.
* Excellent client care and communication skills.
* Strong organisational and time management abilities.
* A commitment to professional growth and a long-term career within the firm.
