Contract Type: Full-time, permanent
Salary:
* Unqualified: Base salary of £25,755.60 (potential total of £31,155.60 with sleep-in shifts)
* Qualified (Level 3 Diploma or equivalent): Base salary of £26,303.16 (potential total of £31,703.16 with sleep-in shifts)
Specific Hours: 39 hours per week

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Young Persons Support Worker, your days will be dynamic and fulfilling. You won’t just be in the office; you’ll be out exploring the Pennine trails, catching the latest films, or enjoying thrilling adventures at theme parks—all tailored to the interests of our young people!
Your main duties will include:
* Promoting, safeguarding, and protecting the welfare of our young people
* Building positive and trusting relationships
* Encouraging the development of individual interests
* A willingness to learn—full training provided to achieve a Childcare Diploma Level 3/Apprenticeship Level 4
What We’re Looking For
We need passionate individuals who are ready to make a commitment to our young people. Here’s what we’re looking for:
* Experience supporting vulnerable young people is a plus, but not essential
* Understanding and commitment to the role, including some weekends and bank holidays
* Willingness to undertake sleep-in duties as part of a flexible rota
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
* A desire to engage, motivate, and inspire our young people
