Project Engineer – Weapons Systems
Salary: Circa £50,000–£65,000 Depending on Experience
Location(s): Bristol (Preferred) or Bolton or Stevenage
Dynamic (Hybrid) Working: 2–3 Days per Week On-Site due to Workload Classification
You will be responsible for the delivery, certification and integration of Command-and-Control Processing Unit hardware and associated subsystems within a cutting-edge directed energy weapon programme.

The Role:
* Be responsible for the hardware delivery and physical certification of complex systems and sub-systems, whilst showing an understanding for the overall product, including software.
* Coordinate work packages for both internal and external suppliers to develop products, ensuring that cost, deadlines and technical choices are in accordance with the specifications.
* Work closely with design authorities and suppliers, overseeing system integration activities across the full engineering lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Experinece delivering the processing unit, rack and infrastructure, and integrated sub systems
* Proven project engineering experience in defence or regulated sectors
* Strong knowledge of hardware delivery and physical certification processes
* Ability to manage stakeholders and supplier relationships effectively
