ICA Technician - Surrey - Up to £50k
A leading company in the industry is actively seeking a skilled and driven ICA Technician to join their dynamic team. This exciting opportunity involves maintaining, calibrating, and optimizing SCADA systems and Instrumentation and Control Systems (ICA). The successful candidate will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless, safe, and highly efficient operation of their state-of-the-art facilities, all while ensuring full compliance with ISO 9001/14001 and the highest industry standards.
Main Duties of a ICA Technician:
* Investigate, diagnose, and resolve faults in ICA systems to minimize downtime.
* Maintain accurate records of all equipment and work carried out in the assigned area.
* Inform Operations staff of any work impacting the safe and reliable operation of processes.
* Advise the Lead Water Process Operator, Production Manager, and ICA Manager on ICA plant replacements and developments.
* Ensure sufficient spare parts availability to minimize system downtime.
* Assist in the development and implementation of new or modified ICA systems.
* Supervise contracted labor and coach team members to enhance technical skills.
* Ensure compliance with ISO standards, Health & Safety systems, and Company policies.
Key Skills of a ICA Technician:
* Proven experience in the maintenance and operation of SCADA and ICA systems.
* Strong understanding of ISO 9001/14001 standards and relevant regulatory compliance.
* Expertise in diagnosing and resolving faults in control systems and instrumentation.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
* Experience supervising and training junior staff is advantageous.
* Skilled in maintaining comprehensive records and managing spare parts inventories.
