An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Extrusion Operator to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Chester-le-Street. The successful candidate will be instrumental in setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion lines, drying and blending equipment, and offline granulation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up, operate, and maintain extrusion lines, drying, and blending equipment.
* Monitor and adjust processes to ensure product specifications are consistently met.
* Conduct quality checks and perform online adjustments as required.
* Wrap and prepare finished products for despatch.
* Complete all necessary production paperwork accurately.
* Support the Shift Team Leader in quality testing and measurements.
* Handle pallets and assist with their movement.
* Maintain high housekeeping standards and participate in hygiene audits.
* Promote and ensure safe working practices at all times.
