Key duties
1. Diagnose tyre/rim/wheel conditions as required
2. Remove and replace rim/wheel to vehicles, remove and replace tyres to rim/wheel as required
3. Perform regular tyre inflation pressure checks, adjust and report to Supervisor
4. Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins and computer based systems
5. Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of equipment non-conformance
6. Setting and maintaining high housekeeping standards
7. Carrying out pre-start checks
About you
8. Certificate II Automotive Tyre Servicing Essential
9. Minimum of 1 year experience in Mine Site based heavy tyre fitting
10. Previous open cut mining experience in the maintenance of a heavy earthmoving fleet essential
11. HR drivers licence required
12. Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times
