About the Role

* Provide personalised support, assisting individuals with tasks such as cooking, cleaning and managing their daily activities.
* Help individuals live independently in their homes and participate in community life, including attending college, gaining employment, and engaging in social activities.
* Support service users in achieving their personal goals, helping them develop life skills and build confidence.
* Encourage and empower individuals to take control of their lives, offering guidance and support as needed.
* Offer companionship and emotional support to improve mental well-being.
* Ensure the safety, comfort, and dignity of the individuals you support.

* Ideally, 6 months' experience in care or similar roles


Training

* Care Certificate
* Valid Mandatory Training
* Basic Life Support Training
* Moving Handling Training


Skills & Qualities

* Care and Compassion (Required)
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Good problem-solving and time management skills
* Empathy, patience, and emotional resilience
* Driving Licence: A full, valid UK driving licence
* Access to Own Vehicle
* Business Car Insurance: or willing to get
* Update Service Enhanced DBS: Can explore applying for one if necessary
